For a first meal, measure the portion you intend to serve, load it as the feeder instructions show, and place the unit where air can circulate. Then program the meal and watch the lid open; if food is not accessible or the feeder is covered or crowded, correct the setup before relying on it.

Prepare one portion for each bowl

Use a clean, dry bowl and portion the food according to your pet's usual meal and the food maker's directions. Follow the food packaging's storage and handling directions. Do not fill past the bowl's usable capacity or place food where it could obstruct a lid.

For the two-bowl Meowant refrigerated wet-food feeder, each removable bowl holds 350 mL. The bowls can be scheduled together or separately. Use one bowl per meal or cat as needed; if two cats eat together, set both to open together. Separate meal times call for separate schedules. Each bowl opens once daily; set its opening for the intended mealtime.

Give the feeder room for airflow

Choose a level, dry indoor surface near the cat's normal eating area and a suitable power outlet. Keep the unit uncovered and follow its instructions for airflow clearance. For the MW-PF06, leave about 3 inches around it for airflow and do not position it directly against a wall. A shelf or corner that leaves the cooling area blocked is not a good location; move the feeder until the clearance is open.

In a warm, humid room, moisture may form on a cold surface. If you find water, inspect the area and feeder rather than assuming every wet patch is harmless condensation. Keep the electrical base dry, and do not wash or immerse it.

Set the meal and watch it open

Use the feeder's own controls to set the intended meal time and bowl arrangement. The MW-PF06 uses push-button controls without an app or Wi-Fi. Check that the time and selected bowl match the meal you loaded, then observe the scheduled opening before depending on it. Confirm the lid opens, the portion is accessible, and nothing around the unit blocks its movement or airflow.

If a lid does not open as expected, the food is obstructed, or the feeder is not operating normally, provide the meal another way and check the setup and device instructions before trying again.
