The SC09 supports cats weighing up to 30 lbs. For tall or long-bodied cats that prefer more headroom, compare the enclosed SC09 with the open-top SC10 before choosing.

What types of cat litter can I use with the SC09?

Use clumping cat litter that can pass through the litter screen. Compatible options include bentonite, mixed litter, and tofu litter with particles shorter than 15 mm. Avoid non-clumping litter and oversized particles.

How do I clean the SC09 safely?

Unplug the unit and remove the waste bin, side cover, and drum. Removable non-electrical parts can be rinsed and thoroughly air-dried, but the base must only be wiped with a soft, slightly damp cloth and must not be immersed in water.
