Who is the Meowant SC03 suitable for?
The SC03 is suitable for cats that prefer a traditional open litter tray and owners who prefer a rake-style cleaning system.
What is the difference between the Meowant SC03 and SC10?
Both models have open designs. The SC03 uses a low tray and dual-rake cleaning system, while the SC10 uses a larger open-top rotating structure with an 11.9L waste drawer. The SC03 feels closer to a traditional litter box.
How does the SC03 dual-rake cleaning system work?
After your cat leaves, the rake moves through the litter and transfers clumped waste into the waste bin. If waste is missed or the primary rake encounters a blockage, the secondary rake provides an additional cleaning pass.
What types of cat litter can I use with the SC03?
Mineral and bentonite clumping litter are recommended. Litter particles should generally be no longer than approximately 13 mm. Do not use tofu litter or oversized litter particles.
Does the SC03 connect to the Meowant app?
Yes. The SC03 supports a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection and app functions such as device status, notifications, cleaning controls, and litter box usage records.
Is the SC03 suitable for cats that dislike enclosed litter boxes?
Yes. Its open tray provides clear sightlines and does not require the cat to enter an enclosed drum. The SC10 is another open option for owners who prefer a larger and taller structure.
How does the SC03 control odor?
Waste is moved into an enclosed waste bin with a deodorizing system. This helps separate clumped waste from the open litter area after cleaning.
How often should I empty the SC03 waste bin?
For one cat, the manual recommends emptying it daily during summer and every 2 to 3 days during other seasons. For multiple cats, daily emptying is recommended.
